Tormek DE-200 Diamond Wheel Extra 200mm 107993 From Chronos
Initially this represents a significant investment. However, a Tormek diamond wheel offers a multitude of long term benefits. The wheel is 200mm in diameter, that will never change. It won’t hollow, dish or groove, it will never require dressing. Diamond is the ultimate abrasive material for sharpening. You can sharpen steels, ceramic and carbide. It will always perform efficiently. It offers rapid steel removal, requiring little pressure and quickly repairs a dull or damaged edge. The diamond surface provides a consistent, high quality finish to your edge tools. The greatest advantage it gives you is the opportunity to sharpen on its flat side as well as the periphery. Used together with an MB-100 multi base you can sharpen on the side of the diamond wheel to produce a completely flat bevel. The wheel comes with 150ml of ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate. The Extra-Fine wheel (1,200 grit) will refine and polish the edges of tools such as fine carving knives and similar for a precision edge after sharpening with a coarser stone. These wheels fit Tormek T-4 models Original and Bushcraft, as well as earlier models with the same wheel dimensions (Tormek T-4, T-3 and 1200). Exceptional durability; never needs re-truing. Sharpens on the flat side as well as the periphery. Extra Fine 1,200 grit for refined and polished edge.

Tormek DC-250 Diamond Wheel 250mm dia Coarse 360g 104773 From RDGTools
Why DC-250 Diamond Wheel Coarse? Diamond grinding wheel for the Tormek T-8. Fast steel removal to repair or reshape edges. Constant shape, always maintains the same diameter. Sharpens all types of steel and ceramic. Allows sharpening on the flat side of the grinding wheel for a completely flat bevel. Exceptional durability with diamond, the world’s hardest abrasive. This diamond grinding wheel can grind all types of materials, including steel, ceramics and carbide. The DC-250 Diamond Wheel Coarse fits the Tormek T-8 Original, Tormek T-8 Custom, Tormek T-7 and earlier models with a grinding wheel 250 mm (9 7/8) in diameter. The DC-250 Diamond Wheel Coarse doesn’t give a fine surface finish and should be followed up by sharpening with a finer grinding wheel, such as the DF-250 Diamond Wheel Fine or DE-250 Diamond Wheel Extra Fine. All of Tormek’s diamond grinding wheels have exceptional durability and constant abrasive power, which means that they always stay round and flat with a full-size diameter. Users who often sharpen the same tool benefit greatly from this, as it simplifies both jig setting and sharpening. Get a completely flat bevel. The constant shape makes it possible to sharpen either on the side of the wheel or on its upper surface. Side sharpening is perfect for smaller tools such as knives, chisels, carving gouges and v-tools. The result is an edge with a completely flat bevel, instead of a slightly concave surface. For sharpening on the side of the diamond grinding wheels, we recommend using the MB-100 Multi Base together with the jig designed for your specific tool. Both the base and the jigs give you support and control throughout the sharpening process. Rust protection for increased service life. All diamond grinding wheels are supplied with 150 ml of ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate. Always add the concentrate to the water when sharpening with water to prevent rust on the grinding wheel. Add 10 ml (0.02 pints) of concentrate to 250 ml (0.4 pints) of water (4%). We recommend always using water when sharpening with diamond grinding wheels if possible, as it both prolongs the service life of the wheel and provides a smoother sharpening surface. You can also sharpen without water.
