The FM10TW-7-TC is a 7 ton electric log splitter intended for domestic use. It comes with a trolley stand with lockable castors. As a result, it is more manoeuvrable than traditional stands that have wheels at the rear and just a flat foot at the front. It has a ram pressure of 400 bar which allows it to handle most wood that is used domestically. Our FM10TW-TC comes equipped with our DuoCutTM blade, which makes it more efficient at splitting logs than log splitters fitted with traditional pushers and capable of splitting knotty wood from either end. When splitting shorter logs, it is equipped with a ram stop that reduces the return distance and time. The FM10TW-TC log splitter is equipped with a workbench and guard that comply with safety regulations. To avoid logs getting caught and damaging the guard, we don’t have holes in our guard’s side panels like other manufacturers. Accommodate logs up to 400mm in diameter, other manufacturers only take 250mm diameter logs. 7 ton of force for splitting harder woods. Duocut blade for more efficient log splitting. Forest Master 8 ton electric hydraulic log splitter. Forest Master FM16MW log splitter is a heavy duty log splitter and the largest of the Forest Master horizontal log splitters, this log splitter has been designed to last. Equipped with a 2300 watt motor the machine reaches 8 tons of force with ease. The FM16MW is twice as efficient, due to the pre-fitted DUOBLADE and with the pre-fitted Ram Stop it can save you time. Featuring two hand operation and supplied with the workbench and safety guard, using a log splitter has never been safer, once attached the safety guard allows you to split logs and contain them, this prevents any debris leaving the cage, in turn greatly reducing the risk of injury. The safety guard is also different from other designs, by removing the holes on the sides, the possibility of a log damaging the guard is greatly reduced. The DUOBLADE allows the log to be split from both ends, this doubles the splitting capacity of the log splitter, meaning it can tackle wood that a normal 8 ton machine can’t do. When splitting the log sometimes the blade may encounter a knot, if this happens with the FM16MW the other blade takes over and splits the log, if a traditional log splitter does this, it could jam the machine, and you will have to free the log before continuing. Advantage of the Ram Stop. When splitting smaller logs, the Ram Stop allows you to control the return distance of the DUOBLADE so that shorter logs can be split faster. Advantage of the Stand with Castor Wheels. The stand can be removed and dismantled for storage. The added feature of castor wheels means that you can move the log splitter without lifing the front, once you have the log splitter in place you simply lock the front wheels.
